Fit: Now that I know what size I take. Very good.
Comfort: Takes some getting used to. I wouldn't walk or run 5 miles in them. You sit a lot lower than regular gym shoes.
Traction: OMG! A lot of that. Even on a dusty dirty gym floor. When I had my Nike Gum rubber Multi Court I had to use a wet towel to get traction. Now? Can you have too much traction? Make sure you pick your feet up or you will trip.
Finish: Made very well. Looks like high quality material. I will give an update in a month or two.
Looks: Nothing flashy. White with Blue strips. I like that. I'm not trying to make a fashion statement.
Price: $44.95 USD
Where to buy: www.paddlepalace.com
Rating: Because these are my first true TT shoes I will give them 5 out of 5 stars. Comparing them to what I have used in the past, they stand head and shoulders above the rest.

Thanks for the review GrumpyJoe, table tennis shoes often get over looked so it's good to read a review of a pair.

Just a couple of questions.

1. Are these a wide fit compared to other trainers you've used?

2. What support do they give - i think you've covered this in "comfort" but I'm not sure. The reason I ask this is because I used to use Prince NFS trainers for badminton and they gave good support. I carried on using them for table tennis. It wasn't until I switched to the Stiga Wasp table tennis shoe that I realised the Stiga Wasp are very very flat in feel - more like flip flop flat - compared to the trainers I was used to for badminton. That took a bit of getting used to.

3. How light are they compared to other trainers you've used?

Thanks

The width is the one thing that I always worry about when it comes to shoes. I always have to buy a size bigger when I buy Nike but even though the Donic looked very narrow, they fit very well in my regular size. Now that you mention it, they do have a flat feel about them. It almost feels like the ball of my foot is higher than my heel. I can deal with that. The support? I played in them 3 hours soild the other night and noticed 2 thing by the end of the night. 1) didn't roll any ankles 2) feet didn't hurt. Those are the #1 things I look for in a shoe. I hope this helps you. I think I read Haggisv uses thease shoes also.

Yes that's right... I think they are certainly not that wide. My feet are a little wide too, and I when i chose my regular shoe size, it felt a little narrow, but it seemed to stretch easily and I did not really notice it anymore after I started wearing it...

Used my new pair today; very satisfied. Good fit, but also I think they are just flat out better than the Tibhar's I didn't like. As an added bonus the style is relatively minimalist and not horrendously tacky like 90% of all TT clothing.
