My impression is that if you used a LP rather than an anti you would become a much better player. Why? because you would master a wide range of techniques and you would develop new resources to lessen the disadvantages of using a LP.

Anti play, on the other hand, is just a shield imo, just relying on spin reversal ONLY-which is what the manufacturers overexaggerate with sometimes - .

I know you used LP in the past but the change for an anti, even if you play very well with it - hinders your development as a player. At high levels spin reversal is nothing to worry about, hence, anti is worse than a versatile LP .

This is just an opinion and I don't mean the anti play has its place.I respect all the anti users from everyhere .
I think that you fail to see that anti has a lot more to do with placement, pace, depth (in placement). These factors are much harder to control with LP (if you at the same time want some spin reversal). Not many are tricked by spin reversal itself, but with the slowness of the ball, odd trajectory when attacking back spin, etc, the returns are still difficult for the opponent even though they may be very familiar with spin reversal. But you must be good at reading your opponent and place the ball well, so you get many chances to attack. This is similar with LP I believe, but I think there are other factors with LP that is more important for being successful with that style.

I agree but I don't understand why many anti users are so obsessed with spin reversal. Also, manufacturers overexaggerate the spin reversal qualities to catch people out.For example, DMS Scandal.

I value those who play with flanti a lot.You need to be really very skilled too.I did try to make the change to anti at some point.Still,I think the LP play has more variety in strategy and technique. This is just my opinion and I do not mean anti users are worse players or they are not skilled enough .

I also like watching videos with flanti a lot .This is positive criticism but I can understand some people can take opinions in any direction ...Just meant Pongista 92 might be better if he used a LP .

Hi! Thank you for sharing your opinion. Any constructive criticism is welcome! ;)
I agree that LP is more versatile. However i prefer antispin because (when combined with a good dampening sponge) of the slow and short balls it gives when i am passive on the table, thus creating the opportunity to be aggressive with my fh.

Yeah it has its place. For your style in particular I can see why you prefer it. You're FH dominant and play zone 1 the most. Take the balls early when playing passive but still have the FH grip and mentality to use it as soon as you can.

So, what did you think about the yellow sponge? I assume you use the same top sheet as before? I would guess that the sponge is a little thick in 2.0, that it feels mushy? Did the spin reversal increase?

Great video, really enjoyed watching that. Some of your short blocks were really effective, and I love how well you move on to your forehand.

You're like me, just a lot better. And with anti-spin

I found the yellow 2.0mm sponge a bit too fast for my taste on Carbonado. It was like playing with short pimples. :D
I will try it on a slower blade, the sponge is interesting! I didn't notice a spin reversal increase but i'm sure is my fault.

BTW, new training video! this time with the slower 2.3mm pink sponge:

Your opponent looked good there. Did you lose in the end?

Yes i lost! :(
I suffered his style...very good blocker with no quality spin shots.
Antispin was useless in this match.

Hi nick! I played with the red sponge, the slowest on the market. It gives you fantastic control but almost 0 spinreversal. I didn't like it.

Yeah, he's a really good touch player. Good blocks, read your spin (quite) well.

Really hard opponent to play against. I can see why you decided to use your BH loop more!

You have a decent bh with inverted. Why do you keep using anti?..... Anti is useless against no spin players ,.... and chopping with anti is not the same as chopping with pips.

Anti looks awsome against loopers but other than that , just hype tbh
