Hi,

I’m playing with either Andro Fibercomp with Spinlord BS or Andro Defcon with BS. I only play 2200+ loopers, so I’m pretty well adept to blocking short and low. However, there’s a new guy in my club who power loops so hard that with my normal chop block the ball would go 1-1.5 feet over the table. Hence, I’d like to try out something really slow. It has to be thin, light and no balsa. Any advice? Thanks

Blade: Ross Leidy Sotto Voce
FH: Donic: Barracuda Max
BH: Dr Neubaeur: Gangster OX
Dr N Barricade defense and Darker Spline c1 are both good quality slow thin blades

Isn’t Barricade balsa? I switched from balsa to kiri as kiri is way more predictable.

+1 on Barricade, the slowest blade I've ever tried.

Oops sorry you are correct, Dr N Barricade Defense from memory is balsa but it doesn’t play like a typical balsa blade, it plays in a more linear fashion. However it is very lightweight and thin

Nittaku Endless.
Thin, medium-hard feel. ''Control'' is very good and the blade is ''slow''. 5 plies of wood, no balsa.
Not flexy like Donic defplay and slower than Defplay...
A light blade, about 75 gr. with some foam filled in the handle.

Defense Plus is balsa. I need something thinner and more predictable. Thanks

Oh .. It was more of a proper question .. I'm looking for a slow blade too, and I'm looking at the Defense Plus, as an option..
