What are the best best frictionless short pips now ?

What were the best frictionless short pips before the frictionless pips ban of 2008

I only know of one, Butterfly Resilon and that was before the frictionless pips ban of 2008

Yes, it was 2008 that pimples all were re-tested for actual frictionality (ITTF depositary would keep all rubber samples for 10 years).
LARC 29 rubber articles shown in green are those failed to pass the test. (=low friction pimples <0.5).

Be happy.

I used resilon but I was very amateur but the blocking was insane. I wonder if it does exist something like resilon.

In contrast to a flourishing development of racket rubber coverings, or rubbers, no technical data can be found on their performance under different environmental conditions. In light of this, here we report an experimental study on the frictional response of four different popular rubbers, with pimples-in and pimples-out gometry, tested against three different balls at five levels of relative humidity. It is found that the humidity does affect the frictional characteristics of the rubbers, with all parameters being responsive to changes in the environmental conditions and reaching maximum at the humidity of about 45–60% in a majority of the cases.

Probably the most interesting finding is that the ball surface finish has significant effect on the frictional response of all rubbers. This can provide players with the ability to control the rubber performance at different levels of humidity by simply choosing between different balls. Graphic Abstract attached below.

Spinlord Gepard is pretty low friction for an SP - see Video reviews on You tube

we have tried it in 2mm at out club but a bit harmless except good against LP's due to its ability to play no spin balls

+1
I got to test Killer Soft and thought it was a MP because of the disruption!!
