It is clear that this rubber is unsuitable to fast blades .Also, I have not seen short blocks ,which might be a detriment for some .However,Pongista has shown his very good skills.

Maybe in greater thicknesses it has higher control, maybe a little less reversal. The thinnest 1.2 mm seems quick, but maybe in 1.5 or 1.8 it is more controllable.

It was still too hard to control in 1.8mm on an OFF+ blade

No wonder. It looks like a slightly boosted or tensioned anti, something pretty unorthodox and an oxymoron. I have heard it curls a little during gluing or something. Bad thing is I can only have assuptions about a rubber's or blade's functions and working mechanism. I get to know something concrete if I try it out or someone has been previously testing it giving off a report. I tempted to think so, that it is hard to control, since it seemed to be quick and even the possible close matching with the SG Black. It does not really matter, I am sticking to my current material, maybe I am better off in the long term for both skillwise and moneywise. It is expensive to try new stuff out, especially if you want to switch back to the previous one given you did not like the new and tried one, as you know.

But it was good to hear something nevertheless. Thanks for the video(s) and report(s)!

I'm keeping Super Glanti as well, this time I see this new glanti as an alternative and not as a superior glanti. I get you might be a lot more aggressive with it, but in this case (of being agressive) I prefer to twiddle and just bh topspin or do a active bh punchblock.

I am also playing rather aggressively with my Scandal, but not with pure offense or 100% aggressiveness, meaning I occasionally hit or attacking push the ball or even chop, but I also need the control and short game ability of the rubber. Basically just to keeping putting the ball around until I get a good chance to attack with my forehand or backhand. I also used to be an equipment junkie, I am willing to stop this. This time I have finally found a setup that suits me well, so I want to get better with it and maybe, just maybe, when I want to speed up a little, I might step forward to the Matador Texa Carbon and increasing the thickness of my flanti to the maximum. I am a rather spin-based player, given the Texa Carbon's stiffness, it might not be the best. But if Luka is able to loop with it, it is definitely possible. I just have to get used to it. We'll see.

Can this anti (ESP) be played with a balsa blade?

Like the Yasaka Sweden Classic?

I've read here that slower blades are better for control with this Anti.

I have many slow blades from my EJ days but unfortunately, they are all blades with balsa.

Thanks.

As far as I know, the balsa blades are not the most appropriate blades for frictionless antis. Word is the reversal is not the best, but controlwise it could be good.

Does anybody have any idea how does the E.S.P compare with Scandal?
