Hi everyone,

Has anyone here used any of the PONGBOT robots? I would love to hear your experiences.

Thanks in advance!

I really dislike such type of marketing..
Why not just introduce yourself and introduce the products that you're providing..
No need to create a fake post and then use the second account (presumably the account of the store/manufacturer) to be part of the conversation and continue the marketing.
I saw this exact thing about this exact same product on the ttdaily and here it is now.
I'm not saying anything about the product as I have no experience and also I saw some good reviews there..
but please - be more direct - be more open to people, no need for such manipulations with the marketing in the forum..

If the PONGBOT manufacturer would like to post about the range here, it would be most welcome indeed.

I've also heard some good things about this robot, and I believe they're very good value. Support and service is always a concern if there is no local supplier who can provide it.

Do you have any distributors in any other countries, or do you only deal directly from China?

We do have some distributors in certain countries, but non-exclusive.

I've just bought/got a Pongbot Omni S Pro last night. It was purchased in person, in Australia, from a local reseller, instead of buying it online. It saved me a few hundred dollars in shipping costs. The production date on mine is December 2023.

This is my 4th table tennis robot. The first one was a Joola iPong, then a Huipang robot, then a Joola Infinity, then this. I've sold the first two, still keeping the Joola Infinity. The build quality of the Pongbot is superb, especially in comparison to the Infinity, which was more like a pre-production beta test, really. It's also slightly better than the Huipang robot. If I can resolve the android app issue, I'll probably be very happy.

The problems I encountered:
  • When it's turned on, there's a constant high-pitched hissing noise even when not throwing out any balls. It's a bit unpleasant, and it got tuned out after a while, until I left the room and came back again. I haven't investigated this closely. I'm not sure whether this is from a noisy fan (it would be unusually high-pitched for a fan), or something else.
  • The robot connects to the epad fine, however, I am unable to connect the android app to the robot. I've contacted their support (hopefully I've sent my message to the correct email address!), waiting to hear back.
So the only control I have is through the epad, and it's a bit tedious to set up custom drills. I was hoping the phone app could offer a lot more pre-made drills.

So far with the basic drills it seems to work fine.

Does anyone have experience with the lowest model NOVA S Pro? Perhaps s comparison with Yinhe (MilkyWay) SP 17 or TIBHAR Robo Pro Junior (or some other robots in the same price range)

I would also like to know more about preset drills for NOVA S Pro. I installed the app to see which drills are possible but the app asks me to connect to robot first.

I've started a Nova S Pro Review here. I can't compare to those you mentioned though.

I have not really checked out the pre-set drills, but the custom ones are quite easy to do as I showed in the review.

I'm still working on the review, so happy to provide some specifics if you need them.

@haggisv Great, thank you.

My main questions are (probably should not expect from tt robot in this price range but nevertheless):
1. Is it one or two wheels robot? Can the robot produce no spin balls?
2. Is it possible to create drills with different spin, for instance, backspin to one corner and topspin to the same or different corner.
3. Are drills where the hight of the ball dispenser (or cannon, I do not know the right English name) changes possible? For instance, is it possible to program a serve and return (so fist time the cannot looks down and second time up)?

1. It's 2 wheeled, so theoretically it should be able to produce no spin, and the setting allow you to do this.
2. A good question, I've not tried that. If the wheels can spin both ways, this should be possible, but I've not tried that.
3. I think you can do this, but I've not tried to see if you can do this from one ball to the next

I have no experience with tt robots, for this one max speed is 15m/c. Isn't it too low?
