I am sad to read about this!

I belong to the type who does not step out to make friends outwardly. But MM's articles are one of my favorites. If I am not mistaken, he had passed one or two Chinese TT articles to me about two years ago, I obliged to help doing the translation. Not much communication with him, but always had him in my mind. I am shock.

I have planned to go to Sydney in late first quarter of 2011, and meet up with the forum mates, MM inclusive. But now.......

As a few people here have already suggested, it would be great if we put some messages together from all us and have someone present it to MMs family before of after the funeral. I'm open to suggestions and I'm willing to organise or help organise something...

Chris introduced me to the TT scene in Sydney. He took me to many a club and introduced me to countless people. He was genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. Always very friendly and welcoming. He will be missed.

From reading his posts and the opinions of those who knew him, he really did seem like a great guy. What a shame that someone so young and full of life has passed on. He will surely be missed.

Wish I could know a little more about him. He was the first to answer me when I joined this forum a couple of months ago. Nothing extraordinary you might say but that left a tiny positive mark in my life. Dear friend, on the other side of the globe you will be remembered too.

When I read this news the other day I honestly didn't know what to say, so sad to hear this. While I didn't know MM personally I have read many of his posts which has helped me. I feel for his wife and family and hope only the best for them during this time of grief. He will be missed for sure.
