Hello,

I have that same style of blade! But in a straight handle, 5 ply, from the early 2000s. I assume this is sold, but was wondering if you recall the types of woods. Mine looks like Hinoki on the outside, perhaps two plys of darker wood (cork?), then two matching thicker plys.

Do you recall the woods types and sequences? The outer ply, though thin, seems thicker than modern rackets.

Darker Aquablade should be a 7 ply.

Mine is most definitely 5 ply, bought in the US from Paddle Palace around 2001. The outer ply looks to be Hinoki, and the total thickness just under 7mm. It was priced at the upper end of mid-range rackets at the time.
