Hi,

During the pandemic I have built some blades to kill the extra free time given by the work-from-home and social distancing.
They are for sale and this thread is dedicated for talking about blades prices and shipping.

Models prices:

They can be seen in my blades buildind thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=58&t=33591&p=394344#p394319
and here:
viewtopic.php?f=58&t=33591&p=394344#p394320

For shipping, I plan to use SwissPost and rough shipping prices for one blade are like these:
Europe - 9 USD + 5 USD for tracking, delivery time: up to a week
USA - 12 USD + 5 USD for tracking, delivery time: up to 2 weeks

If you want more exact shipping prices and check shipping to your location, you can calculate here: https://service.post.ch/vsc/ui/sending-type

Very interesting structures of the blades. My suggestion is you give a name or a number to each blade, and the list price. If it's reasonable, there should be some buyers. Personally, I am interested in the two blades below:

(Lot of 2, defensive, with a 3.0mm horizontally placed balsa core and thick 1.4mm spruce outer layer of 1.4mm).
Structure: spruce - fiberglass - balsa - fiberglass - spruce
Headsize: ~166 x 155 mm
Tickness: ~5.9mm

(lot of 3 blades, 5 layer-spruce wood. The veneer (all 5 layers) was sourced from Germany and the top-ply is one piece, not jointed).
Structure: Spruce - Spruce - Spruce(3mm) - Spruce - Spruce
Headsize: ~157x150
Tickness: ~6.3-6.4mm

Could you please give me a price for the above blades?

However, the cost of shipping from your country is quite high. Shipping to Australia is almost AUD$25.

Cheers

Hi Markwen! The idea with names/numbers is good, will make me look like a real designer. 8)

So, for now its like this:

FlexDefense - Defensive/spruce-fiberglass-balsa - 40 USD
SP5 - Offensive/spruce-spruce-spruce-spruce-spruce - 40 USD

Regarding shipping:
If we pack light and we get under 0.25 kg, shipping can be ~18USD
If you buy both blades, you have free shipping. 8)

Payment can be done via PayPal.
(Or money transfered to a bank account if this suits you better).

PS: Also I have a few one off's that I finished lately and I will add them up. After that I will add a pricelist for all of them.

Apparently buying two blades to get free shipping is a better option for me. however, the size of FlexDefence is too big, as I don't have new rubbers, and my old rubbers are 157x150mm, so I am only interested in SP5. BTW, I am trying ALL or ALL+ wood blades. Maybe I should wait to see if you have got other new products.

Thanks

my club mates only play with expensive equipments, like butterfly viscaria or dhs long 5. they would never choose unknown manufacturers. :)

SP5 (reposted) https://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=33591&p=395218#p395218

Note: on the SP5, in the last picture, only the blade from the bottom has sanded edges. The other 2 were still work-in progress.

I bought the Americano from Adyy, and I can confirm that it is one of the best blades I have tried. If it's a branded product, it might cost USD$ 150 or more.

According to Addy, the top ply is red pine, similar to hinoki, so the touch feeling is great, top notch. The blade is thin, only 5.8mm, great potential for spin, and the inner carbon gives it speed. When serve and chop, the arc is really low, narrowly pass the net, but when looping, the arc is mid high, just like a wood blade. What I can say, it's a big vow factor. I really doubt I would change blade ever since (have tried more than 50+ blades in 10 years).

BTW, I am not related to Addy. I am from Sydney Australia, never met this fellow. But he's super nice, and a genius. My favourite blade was Primorac Carbon, paired with Palio AK47 red rubbers. Believe me, it's a killer combo, with great speed and control - someone might say the blade lacks of control, but it's not true. However, after years of play, I feel it's too much speed, and kind of heavy, so I want a change. This Americano feels like a tuned down version of Primorac Carbon, and the weight is only 76g, exactly what I need, like a dream blade.

Thanks Adyy. Continue your great work. God bless your talent. :)

Be patient. This happened to me a while ago, but he did reply to me in a weekend. He might be busy with his work during the workdays.
