I haven't seen that in any "regular" online shops for some time, but I expect you'll find it on AliExpress, if that's an option.

I can't find it on Aliexpress, which possibly means it is no longer made, at least under that name. https://www.tabletennis.my/products/friendship-729-rubber-729-799-mystery-1-medium-pimples-rubber-table-tennis-rubber-ping-pong-rubber-with-sponge-1-8mm This is closer to you, and suggests that it might be still be around, or has been replaced by one of the other Mystery rubbers.

Not ever seen it myself.

I'm not sure what you mean by a thin base... do you mean one with a thin sponge? One in which the backing behind the pips is particularly thin? I'm not quite sure what you mean, so perhaps you can clarify?

There's a phenomenon in software engineer / technical support, known as the X-Y Problem.

This occurs when a person tries to solve a problem on their own, pursuing a method that seems like a promising approach, but then gets stuck, and then asks for help with their chosen method (instead of asking for help with the original problem).

In reality, the method on which they got stuck may be the longest/most complicated route to the answer. The best way to solve the problem is to start over.

In table tennis terms:

Player wants to do X.
Player isn't sure how to do X, but thinks they might get closer if they can just manage to do Y.
Unfortunately player isn't sure how to do Y either.
Player asks for help with Y.
Others try to help player with Y, but are confused because Y seems like a strange problem to want to solve.
After much interaction and wasted time, it finally becomes clear that the player really wants help with X, and that Y was a dead end.

Maybe your desired outcome here really is is "I want a short pips rubber with a thin base", but I suspect that isn't what you really want. What are you *actually* trying to achieve? And why will a short pips rubber with a thin base help you achieve it?

Maybe share your actual problem, and people can help with other ways to solve it?
