No worries pal :)

I did play with old Dtecs some years ago and liked it, but on a slow and soft blade. I have never tried the new one.
Recently I bought a brand new old version of Dtecs, because I remembered that I liked it, but I was dissapointed because I now use fast blades for my FH, and Dtecs felt way to fast on that kind of blade. So control is my main goal. And ofcourse as much reversal as possible, but not at the expense of control.

Today I had 3 hours of playing, with all kinds of opponents. Tried to push on underspin everytime I got one. Guess what ???
I went back home UNDEFEATED :) I think DG is wonderful in EVERY aspect !

One of the guys I played I usually will lose 0-3 and maybe get 5-8 points every game. He has allways been in control of my pips. And if I play really good I may win a game. This time i beat him by 3-2, and his head was shaking all the time...Hehe, I love it :p

Think I played 6-7 matches. All wins :)

really nice news from you :clap:

@mynamenotbob :

are my eyes deceiving me or are the pimples on the black dtecs conical in shape compared to the Dornenglanz in that video?

The black Dtecs looked like short pimples in the movie

Maybe they look conical and short because they are strengthened at the bottom

What is the price of this rubber approximately? I know shipping cost will vary it to different places. I assume its not available in Australia?

I have a red ox sheet ordered. Will post in 2-3 weeks, esp. as it compares to Talon ox for attack.

Thanks MNNB and Peter. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread. I'm liking the sound of this rubber. I'd be interested in comparison's drawn between it and Talon and also Pogo of course. It sounds like it has more reversal and more grip than either, even though that doesn't quite compute in my head :o :lol:

Yes, it sounded impossible to me too, that a more grippy LP would play better than Talon, but it does :)
Slower, better reversal, better control, better to "scoop" at underspin, better for returning service.
I only lost the first match at training to a very skilled offensive player, but he struggled. Since that training match I haven't lost any.

One funny thing to mention, have you seen the clip in the video section ? Use your pimples better, or something like that ?
Every match when I have 10-9 and my service, I use that pimple serve, and every time i won 11-9 :)
