In addition to the Sauer & Tröger Interview Thread where they have been kindly answering all our questions, Sauer & Tröger have generously offered 2 free samples of their Hellfire long pimple rubber to our members, for review on this forum.

A free Hellfire rubbers (with no logo but the same as the sold versions) will be sent to 2 forum members, in exchange for a review to be posted on the forum here. They would prefer a more experienced long pimple player, as these can obviously be a better judge of the performance of this rubber compared to others they have used.

If you'd like to review it, post a few lines about your game and level here, or PM them directly if you prefer.

I'm interested.

USA 1700+ BH-oriented player using BH LP for topspin attack and chopping. I can play equally well with OX or sponge but am using OX right now.

Thank you Pascal and Sebastian for this offer and all answers to the many questions  .

I'm very interested in trying and reviewing! Estimated level is around 2100 and I have experience with several OX long pips (Palio CK 531a, Saviga V, Curl P3 alpha, Globe 979, Joola Octopus, soon Joola Badman) and with Curl P1r 0.5. Currently, I've got five defensive blades with different characteristics (Butterflies, Victas, Defplay) to experiment with.

My LP-game is a combination of blocking (at begin of a rally) and chopping heavier loops away from the table. Modern defender, in the sense that my FH looping attack is also prominent in my game.

Sample would be appreciated, estimated level around German landesliga. I have experience with around 50 different long pips rubbers and around the same number of blades. Also experienced trainer/coach and our club has several long pips players at various levels and with different playing styles. Located in Holland.

If only I had a little more time to practice off season then is love to test this. I'd be really interested to see it on my Perfect where the dtecs is proving just a bit faster than I want in the block. But I have to pass I'm afraid as I fear I'd be too slow to test and report back. Unless a third sheet could be made available.....

I have used hundreds of different long pips and have only really liked about 3 but even then they don't do everything I need it to. Always a compromise. I have ordered equipment through Troger before and he has given more much insight. I want this to be my last pip for life. Please allow me a sample to test. A month is sufficient. Thank you.

Ken

Roundrobin and Bogeyhunter were the lucky recipients of the free samples for review. They have shipped already, so they should receive them soon.

Both rubbers are on the way by registered mail. Sebastian and me would be happy to get an info from both OOAK members to [email protected] if the samples have arrived.

We are looking forward to hear your feedback on the board.
