Hi,

I started to play with LPs in 2013, way after the frictionless pips were banned so I missed the whole story. Can somebody tell me or point to a link describing the real reasons for the ban?

From what I've read (which isn't much) there's still a lot of bad feeling over this, at least on the part of certain parties. No one brings it up any more, and the consensus seems to be that it's sort of buried old news. Maybe not a good idea to dig it up... :lol: I think if you scan forum posts from the time period you'll come across some of the story, at least bits of it from different points of view.
