@LOOPOVER, have you ever tried dr neubauer firewall plus? if yes, how is it compare with this xvt balsa carbon?

No, but this blade has a great shock absorber effect, so I am not enticed by firewall plus, consider it a waste of money for me.

Hello guys,

quite new here. I am from Germany and we will be at season end quite soon.

I will make the step from inverted to long pips on my backhand only playing at the table most of the time. I´ve heard and read VERY interesting things about this blade here.

I will get a professional shortened XVT Hinoki Balsa Carbon which only weighs 55g. Also I already ordered a "normal" one from the producer.

As soon as I get this, I will stick Dornenglanz Ox and other, slower pips on it and test.

I will come back with some reviews at a later stage.

This can help you a lot. I have been there when I changed to LP 3 years ago.

You quoted me but without a reply from yourself, maybe something messed up with your post?

My XVT Balsa Carbon (professionally resized) arrived and it actually really weighs only 55gr. (see attached picture)

I will seal it myself and will test some of my long pips on it.

Can´t wait for that!
