I would probably stop playing in tournaments and only play at clubs and at my home. I know a lot of pips and anti players that would likely do the same.

Let's assume pips and antis will be banned forever in 2025.Would any of you quit the sport?

If Not.what equipment would you be using then ?

ALL pips? Including short ones?

Two ways to think about this:

1) It won't affect me because I don't use them.

2) It WILL affect me because I enjoy playing against them (I think they have huge disadvantages that make them easy to play against, especially at the lower levels of the sport). As long as you play against them regularly you get used to the "funnyness".

What do you mean "probably" ? You won't be able to use pips or anti in tournaments. You can only use inverted smooth rubbers

What about weekly leagues ? Won't all pips / anti players be banned ?

Not that I care because I would like to see all pips and anti banned to keep the sport clean & it reduces confusion
I will play in more tournaments

Also may be i do not understand but why this thread talks about 9 rule changes . I don't understand that
Do they have something to do with pips / anti ?

I mean "probably" because I can't know with certainty that I won't miss tournament play so much that I'd convert to double inverted. I doubt that I would bother, but to say I definitely wouldn't I think is a bit much. That's why I say "probably".

"keep the sport clean"...so having super spinny inverted rubbers and jacked up, boosted sponges for catapult effect is "clean"? Ok.'

You do realize that table tennis started out with hardbat pips play. If anything would keep the sport "clean" it would be a return to that.
