Hello friends,

Recently I got the chance to try one rubber of Sauer and Tröger. But the first question was: which one to choose? Then I started doing this funny video about How to choose a long pips rubber?

&t=2s

I did it as a Pokemon game, and also I’m wondering what do you think about the format? My idea was to do something different.

I hope it will be useful and will contribute to this amazing community.

Regards

I think that there are other features more important. For me the more important
- sponge: hardness and thickness
- hardness of pips
- geometry of pips (height, widht and space between pips).
- friction/frictionless

Thanks for answering,

- You are right that hardness and thickness of the sponge is important, I have not much experience about sponge because I always used OX pips, but I will go deep on it.

- Hardness of the pips I kind if having in count in the relation of height and width, but maybe I had to be more precise on it. Taking care of it next time.

- This aspect of geometry I contemplate it when I spoke about the relation height width and also I spoke about balancing it with the space between pips, maybe do you think that I have to do it each one a part and will be more clear?

- Frictionless I didn’t consider it because they are banned, then for people who want to compete I don’t think is an aspect relevant. But I receive many questions about this kind of rubbers. Maybe I will do an specific one about them.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and give the feedback, I really appreciate it.

I have explained all the pip design parameters in my blog.
The link to the blog is in my other post today

I read it, fantastic analysis. Many thing to learn from you content. I think video still a little bit difficult to get so many details, because the video can get so long. Maybe to mix those format can be a good answer to it.

Thanks
