I am playing with anti on backhand and and spiny short pips on forehand, but not the spiniest one (SP Waran 1.5). Precisely, i prefer good control for pushing and block, enough sink effect and hitting through loops and loose balls, effectually. Also, SP don't react on opponent spins like inverted.

I am thinking to try inverted rubber, because of better spin on serve and nice spin variation. I don't want to play spin on spin(loop on loop), i prefer first soft spin and after that drive hit to win the point. Control is big wish. I have backhand anti spin to confuse opponent and get a chance to hit. Thus, i don't want to change a style, i want to play similar as with spiny short pips with controled block, push and hit. I think that first brush loop against opponents push will be nice advantage (and drive after :D ). I think that medium to hard 1.5 or 1.7 sponge is good for block, push and smash. Low through angle (like SP) is desirable. Also i think that Tenergy and similar rubbers are not the best choice for this.

Is my thinking right? Any suggestion for rubber? Is there some rule for choosing forehand rubber when you play with modern active defense with LP or anti?
