Why do Australian players (more Melbourne/ Victorian Jnrs)... use a trianglular type stance when in ready position
i.e both left and right hand point inwards to form a triangle shape peak?
I know students from Simon Geradas classes do this but it seems quite normal for others I believe?

Can't say I have noticed, but maybe so they can shift weight easily to either side?
