Hi,

I tried the search function on the site, but couldn't find a lot of results.
Anyone using this rubber? What are pro's and cons. How does it compare
to other anti's?
Can you play regular strokes with it?

Just out of curiosity, the rubber kinda strikes my attention :) because of
the bizar name

Cheers
Pieter

Never used it and don't know anybody who has.

But I agree, I love the film.

I could not resist my curiosity, bought the rubber and played with it yesterday.
It much easier to control then the ABS for me. It is not as disputive, but gives me
more options. I can push, block, flathit and even do some weird spinning motion.
There is almost no spin revearsal, but all balls tend to be very disruptive sinking
floatballs.

It really is what they market it to be. You can play a very disruptive offensive game
with it. And that's what I'm aiming for. I need to give it some more time, but this might
be what i've been searching for ...

That's great that it works for your style! Please keep us up to date on how it's going as you get to play with it more. What is the sponge like, is it hard or soft?

Sponge feels more like a regular sponge. So non damping.
I use the 1.8 version. Very flat arc. Almost no lifting the ball.
Need to take it very short after the bounce. I think it´s softer
Then the fh rubbers i play (rakza z). My guess 42-ish degrees.
But i could be completly wrong.

Topsheet looks the same thickness as the abs. A bit less firm
And not as slick as de frictionless anti´s. Has a bit more grip.
You can even do some topspin movement.

I've never used a more traditional anti so I can't really comment on the type of strokes to use. I know a lot of traditional anti players twiddle frequently, so maybe you could work on that once you get more comfortable with the control of the rubber.

Practice was ok.
The goal of slowing down the game is fine and a good idea.

Only problem so far is to not play with the anti to much and use it to set up my attack.
For now i'm still to busy with understanding a trying how the rubber works. Pushing and
blocking.

I'm trying to incorporate twiddling, but thats difficult for now.

Also trying to flat hit with it, but also not as easy in a match.
