Which type of anti spin rubber is the least impacted by the opponent's spin (especially their serve)?

As 1st time anti user I'm currently playing with Nittaku Best Anti 1.2mm and I'm pleasantly surprised how little I care about the opponent's serve, although good reading is still required to some extent. I find it also suprisingly easy to attack against backspin. This got me wondering, is there a specific type of topsheet/sponge combination that is the least affected by the opponent's rotation?

One thing for sure is that the frictionless anti is much less affected by the incoming spin. Usually the harder, low-elasticity sponges or topsheets are less affected, but still not unaffected. You still cannot ignore the opponent's spin, as different spins require different strokes to be effective.

Definitely the frictionless. But you do still need to understand the spin and how much you need to go into the ball to return it properly. I think that probably a hard topsheet and soft sponge will help absorb the speed/spin the most.

Thanks. Looks like DMS Störkraft would be a good choice since it combines a very soft sponge with a very hard ultra slick topsheet (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMiUO2L5td0).

It is, or even the SuperGlanti or the Scandal is something worth looking into.

Another option might be Super Glanti Attack. Anyone tried it?

If you are a beginner to the flantis or have rather little experience, I suggest not to play with the Super Glanti Attack yet. It would be way too quick and uncontrollable to handle. As for spin-senstivity, I think it would be a good choice, even so the Black Edition has one of the best spin reversal, but the Tenergy-like price is still ridiculous.

The "offensive" sponge might indicate the soft, but a little bouncy nature of the sponge. The softness would take the energy out of the incoming ball and would replace it with its own kind of energy or something.

Thanks Gregor, think I'll go with Störkraft and pair it with a good old Matador.

You are welcome! Suit yourself, I think it is a good combination. One thing to look out for is that the Störkraft might not be the most durable rubber, but you will see.

Well. This Störkraft experience was a short one. I played less than a minute with it. Every ball flew in the net or outside I was so ashamed I quickly grabbed my other bat with Best Anti.

It's difficult to get used to flanti.
The first ball I hit with it fell on my feet.
People saying it will be an easy way to free points are very wrong.

Find yourself a good training partner. Practice sideswipe and block to get used to the feeling. It took me 4 months to feel comfortable with it, comming from double inverted.

During that time i practiced 3 times a week with a dedicated partner.

It takes a long time to become proficient with it. Literally everyone will fail with it when they start. It is that different from anything else. But if you want to send back short balls off of even the most hard hit loops, there's nothing better. Just depends on how much training you are willing to do and having patience.
