I tried out this technique earlier today and it works well, taking the ball right off the bounce. I have a new Anti trick for my next tournament.

Check the video at about 2:15

Looks like chop-block... amazing how much backspin he's getting off it though.

In fact I think there is more backspin when doing the topspin movement with glanti than when doing a chop block movement. Check Sushmit Sriram he plays with Neubauer Gorilla and always block with a topspin motion.

From what I've seen and read to me it seems that a straight block like the one on the video is the way to go with FLanti.
Chop-blocks are not as effective - you lose reversal on them (with FL antis, not with regular ones).
But for blocks like that on the video you need rather soft hands and also very early timing - not easy.. at least for me :) but also quite rewarding from what I've seen.

That is correct, with glanti you want as steady of a hand as possible. While some of the slightly grippy antis like TTR Killer that will work, with the true glanti you get more reversal being steady and even with a slight bump forward.
