Love this serve by Kenta Matsudaira! Looks like he learned it real early on!

Nice serve!

It looks this serve approach can conceal until the last moment which side spin the server will hit!

I'm going to practice that one....seeing if I can learn to conceal it!

Thanks haggisv!

I'm in the process of learning the tomahawk serve. I can do backspin/sidespin normal tomahawk but I tried the "reverse tomahawk" like in Matsudaira's video... I could barely hit the ball lol. Not once out of about 15 attempts did I manage to get it right :D

I'm going to try as well... sounds like it's a lot harder than it looks....this may be why he started so early

It makes it a lot easier to do the reverse if it's on the left side of your head... Pending you are a righty. It's probably tougher to vary the reverse tomahawk from matsudiaras angle as well. It's doable though. Just not by me. I use a reverse tomahawk as a variation of my backhand pendulum serve but it's vary easy to get different variations.
