Thanks for the suggestion, I'll make sure it gets included in the next shipment (assuming it's available ;) ).

Do you know if it's much different to the regular Focus 3?

Only what I've read. Supposed to be lighter and all round better than the original, some talk of a softer sponge though. It has me :?: :^)

I don't know, which is why I was asking    I think the regular Focus 3 has a Japanese sponge... don't quote me on that though 8)

We finally got this in. The packaging is the same style as the regular Focus III (although different graphics), the nice fold-out carton, but no vacuum packaging or anything.

The sheet looks of good quality. it has a thin sticky protection plastic on top, but feels basically non-tacky. Uncut sheet is 52g, which is relatively light for a Chinese rubber.

The sponge is cream/yellow, and is marked 42deg 2.1mm, but measures 38deg on my hardness scale. It would not surprise me if it was actually tuned, as I can feel a slightly oily feel on the back of the sponge, not much but similar to something like T05. Still it might be just some residue from the factory... can't be sure either way...

I will try it today, on my TT-Piet handmade blade ;) mine is declared as 44 deg hardness, it should be about 40 deg on your hardness scale (I didn't order specifically which sponge hardness, this is what I've got). report tomorrow ;)

well...predictable, yes, low sensitivity to incoming spin; speed good for chinese rubber. catapult? mild gear shift up to some extent. spin is not strong, for that i should have ordered softer sponge version. harder than tenergy 05 on gergely. good for flat hitting, fair easy for looping, lower arc trajectory. serves were not spiniest but due to blade characteristic, i did not expect it to be. all in all, i think the softer versions 40 and 42 degrees should be the ones to recommend. i think i will order softer version once

Looks like the shop's out of stock... I'll find out when there's more coming...

The rubber smells like that fishy Chinese rubber smell, and I think that's the sponge (might be wrong). I have this on the backside of my racket, but I don't use it enough to comment on properties (being a jpen player who prefers TBH).
