Hi guys, I've just switched back to PH, I still havent bought my new blade, and given the available blades and the characteristics Im looking for Im deciding between DHS PG 7/13 Power G7/13.

I tried using my SH setup(B: Galaxy T-11+, R: Donic Bluefire M3), but its not fitting well, my grip is uncomfortable, and the blade suddenly is fast as lighting. So, if you are kind enough, any user of either of these blades could give me a push to the right choice I would truly appreciated it.

I wanted a light, fast blade, with more dwell time, which one is closer to this?

Thx :D

Blade: Sanwei F3 Pro (=TB ALC)
FH: Tibhar MX-D max
BH: Hellfire X/Dtecs ox
I have PG7, and it's my best regular size blade. Maybe one of the best price/quality ratios in blades and is very popularly used. Excellent for spinny type of attacks, maybe Off- in speed. Lots of dwell. Close to Clipper(?).

Is it light and fast? Propably nothing like Galaxy T-11+.

I began with SH, I managed to learn (not master) all strokes but one, backhand topspin, and since I didnt want to turn around and use my FH on the BH side, I tried LP and SP on the BH. I had my fair amount of matches won with the LP, but its not the path I wanted. So goofing around, I tried a double inverted SH blade but with PH grip. To my surprise, I had better not only better FH attack, but suddenly I could topspin with my BH :O

I gave it a shot, liked it, but I didnt trained properly and desisted. Now, with SH I can topspin backspin balls, but I cant loop :S

SO, in my final attempt to play aggressive, Im trying to play a Wang Hao like game. If this fails, Ill stick with LP on my BH and from time to time flip it.

Cheers

I started table tennis with SH in 2004, and got proper coaching lesson in 2010-2011. During that time, when I played with players below my level, I give them advantage by using PH grip. The thing is, during these times I realised that my PH FH have a lot more potential than my SH. So I finally make decision after almost a year I'm going back and forth about changing, probably just too afraid if change to PH will make my overall level down.
I advice if you feel the same way, buy a proper PH blade. It's either do or die. Using SH blade will make you think "if this didn't work out, I can still use this blade as SH", therefore will hinder your progress as Penholder. Moreover, you already have more success with PH BH than with SH. Back on your question, If I were you, I prefer PG7 than PG13.

I switched from SH to PH this March, and beat all but one top guns in my club that I'll never beat with SH.
