Not so sure if you should hold the back swing like that. A fast whip back and then forward tends to create more power. In fact I see a whip when it's actually being flicked, but not on the practice beforehand.

I feel like just bouncing the ball low and doing it without the robot might be an important step missing here.

wang hao had a really cool 'flick' the Fan Zhendong's is a shakehand player and is more violent. A coach I met in the Philippines explained to me that penhold and shake hand stokes are basically the same. Start the same way and end up the same way.

but there is one BIG problem with the innovations made with the Chinese.....
