I bought this on a whim last week and just watched it:
http://tt-japan.net/index.php?main_page ... ts_id=1529 For those who don't know Toshio Tasaki was a top player in the 1990's and 2000's from Japan playing a single sided short pip penhold game. He plays a high speed game and smashes well from both the forehand and backhand side:
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=8771He plays a hybrid style, Chinese penhold blade but it's held straight out in more the Korean style. Game is very efficient with little wasted motion, great two step footwork and aimed at ending the point quickly. Different from the Chinese penhold blockers or the Korean mid distance penhold loopers. Closer to the Korean short pips players like Kim Ki Taek, silver medalist at the '88 Olympics.
If anyone speaks Japanese and feels like translating the DVD titles and commentary let me know.
