I can give it a try! i know i will probably be on there bench which would give me a sweet angle, unfortunetly my mom stole my camera and is in hong kong.....but maybe i can get the footage from wang zhen or hongtao

unfortunetly i missed out getting on this team by a very narrow margin

but will still be leading a team of some of our junior national players...

I have played in this tournament for years, even back in Detroit, but seeing Sun play will be worth the price of admission this year to me to me.

Are you serious?
Without zhang chao, fang bo and song hongyuan team, I believe Canada has a chance to beat Team Joola(Liu Song and Lin Ju). But with those 3 Chineses, I don't see it.
I'm not saying Sun is not good but this's a team tourny. They other 2 are good too but not at that level.

BTW, this year is like a defender paradise!!!!! Liu Song, Lin Ju, Wang Wei, Sun Jian Fei......wow!!!
Plus Carlos Sosa, 2400+ and Kaz, 2500!!!

that is very true....i forgot about that team! Wang Zhen can play to a very high level as he beat Chuang chi-yuan last year in straight sets, and didnt drop a set last baltimore. Sun recently destroyed Song in a tournament in china but he has never played Fang Bo...Hongtao is only 16 but his big victories include winning thomas kenaith in straight sets and going 3-2 with Bastian Steger.

What ever the case may be....it is going to be quite the battle.

I hope to play one of these big guys to test myself.....i am rated about 2450 on a good day, and i consider myself to be very good against defenders.....but I am on a team with two very young juniors (8 and 14) so i don't even think my team will be in the same division.....i wish though.

Just saw some names of Canadian kids.

I like Louis Wong a lot. He has good basic and seems to be the type that hate to lose.
Never played him but played his team 2-3 years ago.

hes actually my steady training partner, him and Scott Lu, he is a bit more mature now and a member of the Pan Am national squad. DEMONIC forehand....

he has asked his mom in china to see if she has it, but he says he doesnt think so....it was a long time ago before they had live streaming and the match wasnt coverd by any tv network....so its someones DVD camera.....it will be a long shot
