I have this video of playing P1-r on f/h for a day and debating whether I should post it up. Reason of hesitation, garage was hot and humid and we were both shirtless. So I posted the alert, hoping it is ok for the tt police.

May be it is the way I stroke the ball with my right hand, but I found hitting P1-R was a lot easier than using it on back hand side, strange. I used this set up and played with George last Thursday and Friday, stroking and testing chopping against robot on Saturday. The video was taken yesterday afternoon.

The more I play with this set up, the more I love it. I was reviewing the video last night, I saw the gradual shift of George from attacking my forehand to my back hand on the second ball. Several things I found out, he can't just freely attack my serve now, even when I casually served with P1-R, the ball is weird and he needs to be careful otherwise, he will either net or hit out. Second, he can't just block my ball back like he used to, he has to lift the ball a little bit otherwise, it will be netted too.

So, here is a small clip showing the versatility of P1-R and Long A, hope you all enjoy the points.

Very nice Tat, I think you'd be very tough to play against with a combination like that, and probably feared by many

Thanks, Alex.

Here is another short one that showed the kind of forehand P1R attacking power, but George was very good in returning all back. :( Not too many player can return these kind of long pip direct attacks.

I was in positions for all the shots, please tell me what could I have done differently to win this point.

LOL!

I think if you can vary the pace more, ie hit a slower one, George would likely have put it in the net, as he's away from the table and is relying on your pace... I suspect hitting a slower ball will be harder though...
