Ok, I read this website (the wiki page is really difficult to read due to all the medical terms):

In short: it's an auto-immune disease that shows itself during your 20s and 30s. The body attacks it's own blood vessels thoughout the whole body. There's no cure for it, but they can ease the symptoms (off course, then the damage is already done to the body's own tissue) and prevent serious complications. The patient can die if the body attacks itself in the wrong place (e.g. the brain).

Not good news if you ask me for a TT players. His vision can become blurred, his knees can hurt during a certain period, skin problems and other worse conditions. That explains why he reported skin problems earlier this year. IMO it's diagnosed this year, because in the recent years before this one he was almost never hurt, except for his shoulder once.

Its a shame =[ no cure =[. Hope he can control it and give us more year of the most beautiful style in table tennis

It would be great if we could just gather all LP-fans and Joo-fans of this forum and kind of tell him that we all, with our very different backgrounds (geographcal, age, styles, levels etc) just adore his style and his fighting spirit, and that we all hope he can use that spirit to get well. He seems like a very down to earth person, and I am sure he would be very cheered up by such kind of message.

But how? Could it be a web page (or a new thread) where we just write a few words each? And then in some way send that to him via his coach (didn't Greggy have some kind of contact with him?). Or if he has a fan club, perhaps via them? To start a facebook page is another way but it wouldn't be from this forum since everyone doesn't have a facebook account (there are other problems with that also).

Another great idea, DA. Starting a new thread with all the best wishes. I'm sure there's someone here on the forum who has contact with his entourage (or himself) indirectly. I don't think a fb fanpage will help, because there are already a lot of them. I'd say: you have the honour to create the thread, DA.

It's also good to put a link to the thread here: this is still his official OOAK page.

Haggisv, I don't want adham to help in this matter. I don't trust him delivering the wishes to Joo or someone of Joo's entourage. He has proven himself not worthy of being trusted for several times in the past.

Thanks for honoring me with that assignment Lorre, but I would rather have Haggisv to start the thread (if you don't mind) - he knows where to start it and how to express himself better than me to make it worthy and respectful. Also, he can sticky it

I am not that sure that it is a bad idea to ask Adham, I don't think he would be disrespectful in such a situation. But perhaps we shouldn't rely on him only?

Maybe that's a better idea: not to rely on him only. But I still don't trust him... He's a man with power and IMO doesn't use that power correctly. I've already encountered too many people like him in my life to think he's able to be respectful, even in these kind of situations.
