Bogey, how long it will take for you to reach 2500? Do you have a target and a plan in place?

Don't know. but I know that being 2500 need more than will or time or money. I need a combination of all 3.
My goal - June 2008 - 2250
After NA teams(Baltimore) - 2350.

Now practicing/correcting bad things in my game that G.Letts pointed out.

[b]Awesome - mind sharing youe video? We all might learn something

Well, my wife took some video of the matches, I guess I can find they are located. How do you post videos? You did yours on youtube.com, unfortunately, I have never done that before. How do you start?[/quote]

Go to youtube.com then click "upload" right top corner. You might have to signup first, free.
Video really helps me/my game improve.

Hi Bogey, yesterday,I uploaded the sr olympic doubles match in San Diego dated 2006 in veoh.com, unfortunately, the video came out crooked in proportion, table too short, players too tall, etc.

Fosss is nice enough to help me fixing the problem last night, hope he will be successful. Anyway, here is the site, amy be you know the answer.

www.veoh.com/videos/v3308366nEEfTS9

I am the little Chinese guy wearing Prince shirt, using 755- 0.6 on BH and Butterfly Bryce on FH, learning to attack using pips with some success. In the final, the lefty is a 1900 guy using Super Block, everybody had problems. I played with LP, but had little experience with against LP, just needs more experience.

Hope you can help, thanks.

Tat

Sorry about that, must be getting old. I missed one letter. The correct address is:
www.veoh.com/videos/v3308366nEEsfTS9

If there is a next time, I would edit the video first for shorter time. However, that won't tell you the whole flow of the matches. Seeing bit and pieces of a match is no fun.

Let me know what you guys think.

Tat

hmm, either the dimensions on that video got screwed up, or you guys are really tall playing on a very small table

Seriously though, I don't have time to watch it right now, but I'll try to come back a little later and leave a more constructive comment

OK, I have just posted a video of practicing on long pip attack on veoh.com, see if this time work or not, and of course, yours comments are welcome.

I really like the butterfly gernly blade with prasidha Long A, very solid feel.

It may be a bit long but you guys can always stop when tire of the same action. Thanks.

just watched the second video. Looks pretty good! From the flight of the ball it looks like you've got some good spin when you chop down those high topspins, and your lp attacks seemed pretty quick. It was a little hard to tell which shots were on or off because there was no sound...How would you rate your percentage of good shots with that pick hit? It seems like that would be a great surprise shot to use against those loopers who always play a safe high arc loop against your chops

First, a crooked screen with elongated persons, and then there were no sound; somebody help me, please. Is it me or the Veoh.com equipment?
To answer your question, I used the chops on both sides to creat opportunities for my bh kill. If the returns are underspins or low speed top spins, then the kill percentage is about 90%. However, if the returns are dead float balls and I am not ready, it is 50/50, I always hit long.

The surprise hit is exactly what I wanted. Sometimes, I would just chop, chop and suddenly, attack with either flat hit or top spin. You should see their face with total surprise. For many years (about 7 years), I can only chop on bh for incoming top spins, and push on float balls. I have to run around to attack, too old for that. Then, one day, three years ago, I added a thicker spongy (2.0) on the butterfly fein ox, and magically, I can attack with power. Since then, I learn quite a lot of attack variations through this site and Gregg's About.com. That helps a lot for a guy that cann't afford a coach (Don't ask me how I got my robot, please).

OK, Kev(FOSSS) is a very nice gentleman indeed, he unconditionally help me repair the first video and now is available on veoh.com, the address is:

www.veoh.com/videos/v3311260HwSK2zh2

The image is a lot better and there is sound! I am still the smaller Chinese young man wearing a Prince shirt. Looks like I am not ready, but I am, mentally. Please be aware that 2 years ago, I was still in the process of learning how to attack, that's why some of the hesitation shots, no kills but mainly positions. In other words, I created opportunities for my partner who love to kill.

Thanks for all the comments.
