Just wondering what do people like seeing?
Hopefully in the future we can create some for the video section

I must confess I am an absolute instructional/training DVD junkie,

Since coming back to TT approx 3 years ago I noticed so many changes in equip & playing styles that it felt like I needed to just start re-learning everything all over again so I decided to buy, download & watches every instructional vid I could lay my hands on. These included general training and specific vids on serving, looping, defensive play etc.

I particularly like watching the ones where top players ( Maze, Persson, Kreanga etc) explain to us in there own words (in English) some of their personal views, experiences or ideas on different aspects of the game.
Its also good to be shown the specific training routines they have developed to link certain sequence of shots together etc. As an example I have tried to take some of Kreanga's comments on his BH preparation including stance, body and shoulder position to heart and it has made a huge difference to these shots for me.

They can also be very useful as a re-fresher from time to time to help motivate me into trying to improve. Typically there has always been 1 or 2 moments in each vid when the "penny has dropped" after hearing or seeing something clearly demonstrated.

Sadly many of these vids seem to be disappearing off the net and are harder to find.

MM I agree it would be great to try and produce our own little vid section, but its heaps of work I bet.
Maybe we could have a nominated stoke of the month and any member brave enough   could put together a short vid of their tips and demonstration of the stroke. You are obviously very good with both TT & a handy cam maybe you can start us off. :)

I wish I could but I have no idea on editing programs...

also I don't have the luxury of a table at home, or a good video recorder

....but ides like tips on looping, tips on driving, tips on hitting, pushing even blocking.
Drills

1 video at a time and perhaps to demonstrate it in a 3-4minute
