Australians are adept at many things. Surfing is sure one of them for many, but never was for me. In my state we adore our Australian Rules footy (carna Pies = Collingwood Football Club), not rugby, but I'm too old for anything but spectating in this sport.
That's a shame because Melbourne Storm are an awesome team... But there's no accounting for taste - or lack of it! (I really can't get interested in Aussie Rules/Gaelic football...)

I've just bought a Stiga Super Carbon (£19.99 down from £54.99  ) because a) I thought it looked like a good deal and b) I'm still experimenting...but have no idea if it's any good because it hasn't arrived yet...

Any opinions on the blade?

I doubt it will have arrived by then.

I should have it by next week...but I'll stick with my current bats until after we've played Donington, so won't try the carbon bat until the following Friday or Sunday.

Cyrrus, what is the weigh of your Gergely ? I bought one for my son and it weighs 82 grams.
I have one Schlager Carbon in C-pen, and I like it. Too bad that it is heavy (92 grams) but that was the lightest available at the time when I bought it.

I guess it's the same as your son's blade

maybe it's the weightof the rubber that make me feel that it is heavier than new carbon blade? I use a Stiga carbo sound and a double happiness PF4

Blade: Sansonov Force Pro
FH: H3PROV
BH: light and fast
I own and play only carbon blades: Stiga Tube Carbo, Kranga Carbon, Iolite, 729-8030 and 3 Halmark Carbon Extreme's.All of them are very different, one is better for one aspect, another for other. The lightest and most acomplished for me is the Carbon Extreme (balsa core) so I bought three of them

You made me curious.
I intended to buy a Stiga Tube Carbo, but after reading your post and another review (about Viscaria) I have doubts buying Tube Carbo.
Where did you find Carbon Extreme?

Tube Carbo is a looper's dream.I love it, but unfortunately it's quite head heavy,so I put Pistol on it and now the balance is perfect.(though I don't use SP yet)I bought my first Carbon Extreme in Vroco- a love from a first sight. The next two I've ordered from UK.I asked them for the lightest available. The weghts of these are:two are 68gr and one 70gr.Softish, with just right amount of vibrations. It has Balsa core with some layers of linba and abachi. It does everything with superb control.
