Played in some fixtures this evening with 999N on the FH.

I remember now why I used to use it. Very easy to flick with, much better short game than the euro rubbers I've been using. I was outpushing and outspinning my coach (and other players) while using very short movements that confused the hell out of them.

mmmmmmmm

I should get some more...

For me, this is a main reason why I much prefer Chinese over Euro rubbers. The former is much more versatile over the table. Although, playing habit does play a role; I couldn't really accept dropping so much versatility and spin for the short game. Manipulating spin is really hard with Euro rubbers.

Cranking the spin over the table, great

Settled on the Septear then? Make me wonder how a Septear feels like.

Any new consensus here?

Grubba Carbon?
Cayman?
Maze Passion?
Darker 7P2A?
Acoustic/Violin?
Other?

Seems like a lot of "maybes" until you hit OFF/OFF+ level..
