Blade: Donic Persson Power Play
FH: Donic Bluestorm Z3
BH: Tibhar Aurus Soft
This is the only blade that survived my mini EJ phase of tryout and trade with friends. It is truly a blade that feels good and inspires confidence in all shots. I use this with Reforma 2.2 and Sriver FX 2.1 EE II Treated.

Weight: 85 Grams
Thickness: 5.8 mm
Height: 15.4 cm
Width: 15.1 cm
Construction: 5 Wood + 2 Texalium
Handle: Flared
Feel of wood on shots: Medium Soft
Offensive Class: All +
Vibration: Average
Stiffness: Medium, gives a little
Durability: Great. I have had several John McEnroe type of racket throwing incidents. This blade is a survivor.
Looks: Super. I love the red handle
Blade Surface: Smooth. Accomodates a lot of rubber changing without peeling off the veners.
Handle thickness: A little thicker than most BTY, which I love.
Intimidation Factor: Nil. Come on guys, this is an ALL + blade for crying out loud. Intimidate your oppont with your rating.
Babe attraction factor: Good, if you hand out free Lattes.
Balance: Outstanding neutral, not like BTY VSG series - head heavy.
Price: Average for a Japenese name brand
Value/performance: a bargain considering what you can do with this blade and how long it lasts.

Juic's marketing says: Outstanding allround blade. This medium-weight 5-ply blade has excellent control and great feel. If you’re looking for the most versitile allround blade, this is the one.

Der_Echte's No-Shit Observations: The marketing statement is true, but does not do this great blade enough justice.

Match Performance:
You seem to hit ball after ball on point with this outfit. You do not blast the ball with a medium stroke, but no one using an allround blade does that - they use it for consistancy, which this blade excells in. Loops have good feedback and decent dwell time - they land where you put them. Fast sponge loops use the rubber for the speed - they are impressive. Pushes go on line. Serves are nice and spinny - the feel of this blade is great. Maybe it just fits my hand and I like how I hit with it. I just feel in charge with it. I don't worry about the handle or the grip - the blade feels like a part of my hand. Driving is a joy. I can use more wrist. Blocking is an exercise in laughing - at the opponent race like mad to get to the ball, because you placed the ball away from him with control.

Conclusion: This blade is worth it if you are any style other than an all out defender. You still hit defensive shots when you need to and can hit a high percentage of your offensive ones. I use an OFF blade for my primary outfit and can hit well with it. However, I still love this blade. I win just as many points with it on offensive shots - the control and feel are top rate.

Do you think this blade plays similar to other blades
,such as the Cayman, MC1 and KOOL! ?

I haven't yet played any of these blades. From what I have read about the Joola Kool! and the MC1, they are very fast OFF + blades - emphisis on blazing speed. This is not the property of the Texalium.

Now the Donic Cayman, it is more like the Texalium in that the emphisis is on great control with acceptable speed, and is perhaps somewhat stiffer than the Texalium. EDIT: The Cayman is also way lighter.

I just love the fit, feel, and balance of the Texalium - It is just right for me, and I am as picky as a cat sometimes.

With a name of Kim, are you perhaps Korean? I speak Korean.
