Even by Stiga's own ratings, the Clipper isn't anywhere near an off+ blade.

Stick with what you have.

Both blades (Violincello I presume) and Acoustic operate in a similar manner so there will be no major 'step up'. The Acoustic is more highly 'tuned'/ strung.

The exception is if you're in Europe and the blade is a about to go out of distribution (at least for the moment) then might be worth buying for posterity. Or at least I did this.

I can say Clipper wood is an OFF+ blade. Maybe softer than usual carbon blades, but remains an OFF+. Is a step faster than Korbel or Cryzer. Is in the same class of speed with Mazunov.
