I looked was looking through the pics in silvers gallery. :P and notice that the Stiga OC has the same striped 2nd veneer (from the same top brown wood) exactly like the Ma Lin Yeo. the core looked the same too and they both had the brown top veneer so i got suspicious, so i was wondering if any of u guys have tried both of the blades and can tell me if they are the same.

No way they're the same. Stiga OC is only made by Stiga in Eskilstuna.

The Stiga factory doesn't make blades for any other brands.

That Yeo blade would be made in the old Stiga factory in Tranas, which now makes blades for a multitude of brands.

What are the ply thicknesses of the YEO?

I'll get the thicknesses of an OC soon.

Overall: 5.54
Top: ~0.30
2nd: ~0.90
Core: ~3.14

They're "rough" though. It's hard to measure 0.30 from the side even with calipers.

Ma lin extra offensive measurements (not exact)
Outer- 0.508 mm.
Striped- 0.6134 mm.
Core- 3.81 mm.
Striped- 0.6134 mm.
Outer- 0.508 mm.
Overall- 6.02 mm.
Yeo is overall about 1/2 a millimeter thicker...... :?

Addoydude: Maby the cores look different because they're from different parts of tree?or u might be right and they might be different cores. :?

Geoff: They dont have to be produced in the same factory to be the same. they could be produced in different factories using they exact same woods and same positon of the woods on the blade.

I don‘t know the YEO, but play the Allround 40, which what i heard shall be similar to the YEO. I‘ve played the OC too, and the OC has alot more vibrations than the Allround 40. Both swing, but the vibrations of the OC do make it feel more harsh.
