A few years ago I sold my Stiga Allround Evolution to a bloke at the club. A while after he stopped playing and I sort of wished I hadn't sold it. I messaged him to buy it off him but he never replied. Today I ran into him at work and I said if he wanted to sell it I'd buy it off him again. He said I could have it but gave him $20 and he'll drop it in tomorrow.

Looking forward to having another hit with it.

Not sure why I sold it, I think it was just I wanted to try different things and bought a Yasaka Extra with the money.

Anyone else done something similar?

sometimes you sell stuff and then wish to retry the same later.
Usually its best to let it go as it didnt suit at the time.
best of luck.
i used to play with Butterfly Andrzej Grubba ALL+ and had 3 .i sold them all and then bought another about 6 months later to retry.i let that go aswell.

There is a certain satisfaction in buying and selling stuff.

There were times when I bought some equipment and sold it off before giving it a try... In a german forum they even have a term for this :headbang:

Tempted to try and buy back an original TSP balsa 6.5 i sil a couple of years back to a local who may have stopped playing. Much better feel than the latest non Japanese made blades and a real weapon for close to table hit & block once under control.

I've sold 2-3 bats but they weren't what I was playing with. They're usually ones I didn't like that much, including my Yinhe W6 Loop King. The problem is that I now have a couple tote bags full of unused bats (some of them with fairly expensive blades like a Nittaku Septear and a Darker 7p-2a).
