Has anyone tried this blade?

From pictures it look like the old regular VKM, same handle color and limba + spruce for the top and second layer. Weight seems to be the same too, around 85g and I can't find any info for the thickness online.

Also, from the Tibhar website seems to be made in Japan "5-ply high quality Japanese defensive blade" although seems weird that it's not printed on the blade surface, manufacturers like to brag about products that are made in Japan

It is good quality wood. 89 grams is mine. Thicker then VKM, 5,5mm compared to 5,2mm VKM. It is also a bit faster very close to Butterfly Hadraw Shield but not faster. Handle is thinner then Hadraw which was already thin. Maybe with a mm thinner. Balance wise its a bit worse due to the thinner handle. I will try a grip to see if makes it better.
