What is the difference between Araylite Carbon, Aramind Carbon and Kevlar Carbon.

BTY TBS, MM and other blade are AC where as Galaxy's K series is Kevlar still they call the clone blades of MM, KLHS, TBS but both the material are different AC and Carbo Kev then how they r similar??? and whats the difference between above mentioned material.

Thanks,

Vivek

Arylate/Carbon is the hardest
Aramid/Carbon is in the middle
Kevlar/Carbon is the softest.

Speedwise top to bottom, fastest to slowest.

However, the differences are pretty small. You get more difference between different woods.

The K2 is not a clone of the KLHS.
The K4 is not a clone of the TBS.
The K6 is not a clone of the Maze.

They play very differently.

Aramid and Zylon are used in body army too (use of zylon has been discontinued though).

Arylate (Vectran) is used in the current nasa space suits.

As far as bullet proof vests go, the fibers do not work by making a hard layer to stop bullets. They stop bullets by being strong enough not to break the threads and the threads "spread" the energy absorbsion over a larger area.
Some vests use ceramic plates. They try to break the bullet up in pieces.

Hi,
Then y affordable table tennis has mentioned K2, K4 and K6 as clone for KLHS, TBS and MM. Check the link below:

http://www.affordablett.com.au/shop/ind ... a25feb3cb4

Also a lot of people on forum also say that they are clones.

Thanks,

Vivek

Yes this subject was discussed previously, and I think we all agreed that "clones" was a bad choice of words, since most don't even look like them, and the construction is different... however since they belong in the same "broad catagory", they can be used as an alternative for many players...

actually.

If you go back and reread the the original post where all the clone business started, he just notes that they are of similar construction and thicknesses.

That is exactly why we call them substitutes not clones...

Yes. Plenty. If you use the SEARCH function you'll find lots of info and reviews both here and the other forum. Then you'll know more about similarities & differences of how they actually perform instead of focusing on the terms clones & substitutes etc...
