Bought a Korbel off ebay from what appeared to be a reputable seller with 100% feedback. As well as having the shrunk rubbers glued with what looked like permanent glue, the blade appears fake. I'd forgotten that there were plenty of these fake ones around. No big deal, will get money back but thought I'd post here for interest and a reminder.

Wow, the spelling mistake is certainly a dead give-away...the mind boggles how they can get that wrong!

Fakes mostly came from China, and does not speak English. So even it is glaring, they won't notice.

Enjoy the game. It is a never ending learning experience once you play and keep the ball on that 45 sq ft of space or should I say half of that space.

Had a hit with it tonight and its really slow, even with an EL-P on it. Handle fees nice though and totally playable. Plenty good enough to give away to a junior, or a senior for that matter, just won't set any speed records. On the spectrum analyser it came in at about 1080 which is slower than an ALL blade, nudging defence territory.

The person I bought it off didn't realise it was fake. They showed me they only bought it a couple weeks ago so they also did an ebay claim. We both got refunded and I kept the bat. The whole episode didn't worry, I mean, what did I need a Korbel for anyway.

Slow and soft feel too? Fake or not - I may be interested if you wish to part with it.

It may well be a good blade but I'll be giving it away, even then I should probably be burning it as any of these out there just encourages the fake industry as a whole.

Ended up giving at away to a kid who is a bit of a battler but keen enough. He was using an old Reliance bat with no grip but trying to loop.

A decent outcome.
