Hello,

I'm would like to compare these two blades.
I don't know the DE-1.It looks fine to me because I like thin blades and that this is 5mm thin.

The LQ-2 is too fast for me.
That's why I'm trying to find information about the speed of the DE-1 compared to the LQ-2.

Strangely, some reviews on the web says that DE-1 have to be rated as OFF blade and on the other hand I finded reviews saying that DE-1 is slower than LQ-2.

What's your opinion about this?

Thanks!

Here, they rate DE-1 with 5 for speed and 6 for LQ-2.
And this people confirm it by e-mail too.

Try the Toxic three.......Its cheap, effective and SLOW!!!! Also, check coles TT page, he has a prototype dawei defensive blade thats supposed to be uber slow on chops but has a second, much faster gear.

Toxic 3 seems to be one of the slowest blade on the market.
That's not what I'm looking for.
Slower doesn't mean slowest...

From what I gather, the Toxic, Toni Hold white spot, or the nittaku endless, are the slowest I could think of.....Also, Valor makes some uber chopping raquets.

I'm not a choper.
I'm playing close to the table. I push, block and hit with a slow paddle.
I'm playing with a old Andro Def blade (not the actual one) with 1mm Fiendship FX blue sponge on my FH and TT Master Swing Back ox on my BH.
I would like to find a blade a little faster than my actual.
I tryed the LQ-2 how was too fast.
But, I'm not looking for the slowest blade...

That sounds right up the alley of the way Cole described the DE-1. Also, check out grubba pro, and toni hold white spot.

So Capo are you saying LQ-2 is your current blade?

Have you looked at the AndroDef FibreComp blade. I believe its fairly slow.

No, LQ-2 is a bit too fast for me.
I tryed Fibercomp in the past. The speed was OK, but the feel was too soft for me.

DE-1 is definitely slower than the LQ-2, it also has a softer feel and a little more flex...

I am probably one on the guys that rates his de1 fairly fast, and sorry I dont have LQ2 to compare, also a very stiff blade.
I was told the de1 blades were sorta like a prototype idea before the LQs
