What style have you been playing? If you are trying to become a looper how far have you come? Do you want to brush loop or drive loop?

Do you use Shakehand or penhold? Do you like tacky rubber? Do you want heavy or light rubber?

What didn't you like about Sriver fx with your blade? What other rubbers have you had on the blade?

Keep the FX, learn to loop, then look for a rubber.

i use shakehand grip, iam enjoying the tacky rubber which iam using at my backhand. about the sriver fx, it feels very hard rubber for the blade and the ball feeling is lesser. heheh. i use sriver fx, donic twingo, xiom zeta and kokutaku.

You might try the Donic Coppa Tagora. I found it a tad bit more spinnier and faster, but it has a softer sponge than the Sriver FX.

One of the favorite setups for loopers in China, H-3 forhand, Sriver FX backhand. Just turn your bat around and put an H-3 on the forhand. Then you only have to buy one rubber. That was my setup also in China. :)

Vario was always considered to be a good looping rubber in the past. This was in the days of glue and small balls though, not sure how it would be now.

LKT Red Diamond is really good. 729 Cream Transcend have lower throw and slightly softer sponge.

Guess I learned to loop properly (or at least with loads of spin :) ) with Stiga Mendo.

Though, non of the above have soft sponges, they are all medium, but softer then Hurricane 3 for sure.
