Replacement for Sriver G2 FX

I have been playing with Sriver G2 FX on my BH for over a year now. It is not overly sensitive to spin, not really fast, recieve's serve well, gives good control, very steady on my pushes, plays very well with short touch strokes on the table, very reliable on blocks. I consider this my control BH rubber which allow me to minimize the opponent's offense and also gives me ample defense. I would like to replicate its qualities on my other setups but its just so dannnngggg expensive.

Perhaps some of our experienced contributors can suggest rubbers with similar qualities and yet not burn holes in my pocket. What would be approximate equivalent BH rubbers from brands such as Donic, Tibhar, Andro, Nittaku, TSP, Xiom, Stiga, etc.

Helplessly awaiting for answers. Thanks

With the requirements you have for your BH you could burn a significantly smaller hole in your pocket with a number of chinese rubbers as well:)

I do not know anyone who uses G2 FX however.

Andro Revofire is what you are looking for. Good at everything. Amazing at nothing but control. When I describe it I say it plays like Sriver G3. It's a quality rubber. It's also one of the cheaper Andro rubbers.

I have played with a couple of other guys G2 Fx, and I think a good replacement for it is Donic Coppa Tagora. (I have played with this also) The G2 Fx has a soft sponge, as all Butterfly FX rubbers do. And the Coppa Tagora has a softer sponge than the original Coppa, giving it a feel similar to the G2 Fx.

And I feel that the Tagora has the attributes that you mentioned the G2 FX has.

Vanjr, I have tried all sorts of Chinese rubber and have not found one I particularly like for my BH. RITC 804 is fairly insensitive to spin but can’t generate enough for offense. Moon is my favorite but I use it on my FH, again not what I’m looking for in my BH.
Skippy, I will look for Andro Revofire, maybe scarce in our parts as I haven’t heard of any one using it. The only Andro I’ve seen in our area are Hexers.
Glennholder, Donic is quite popular in my area. I’m sure I will be able to order a Coppa Tagora.
Thanks to all those who pitched in, God bless
