Had the opportunity to play Tackiness D for a few hours last week. I didn't expect much from it but was happily surprised how great it felt. I'm playing sriver 1.9 since the old 40 ball but the Tackiness D with the new 40+ ball gave me the impression that it felt a lot like how sriver felt back then with the old ball. Only a bit slower but the spin I could create with it really felt like those old days, especially on serves. (Speed is rarely a problem for me, I got other limitations ;) ) I assume the Tackiness D was also 1.9, the sponge tickness looked similar to my own setup. Also both sheets were pretty new, with is of course important.

So I was looking online for some reviews and I found so little and most based on the old 40 ball. Back then I tried both aswell and sriver felt more complete. Perhaps it's just my imagination, but I'm curious if any of you tried the Tackiness D with to new 40+ ball and how you compare it to Sriver.

Also I'm trying out Tackifire D for the first time ever in two weeks after one of my friends said I'd like it even more than the Tackiness D. Any thoughts?

(additional info. All on the FH, I play with LP on BH. Also my game is chop/loop/block, my drives are mediocre at best. I'm below national level)

Back in the day, when it was introduced, Tackiness was supposed to be the complement of Feint (they made both in black in an era where the great bulk of rubbers were red). I tried Tackiness Chop once, it turned out to be way too slow if you were playing an attacking game. I imagine Tackiness Drive would have been a better choice for me.
