Blade: Yasaka Sweden Classic ST
FH: Hurricane 3 41 black 2.2
BH: Hurricane 3 38 red 2.2
why choose the red sponge version?

I tried an 8-80 and probably 4 x 3-50s and found them to be inferior to commercial versions of H3 and H8.

I am not a chopper though....

I have chopped with H3 and H8 and it is easy to say that H8 is more dynamic, bouncy and for those wanting more speed... but at the same time I found it to be generally more tacky than H3.

Question is have you tried H3 plain for chopping? I can do everything with H3 as it is seems the most controlled of all the H series. The harder sponge helps the ball go forward. The soft 350 is good being lighter but doesn't play well once you take steps away....

Nothing going for it apart from weight.
