They’re not too fast. Usually better to use softer rubber on weaker side. The thing about Chinese rubbers, especially Hurricane, they’re sensitive to spin. Which is both plus and minus. I usually don’t recommend 41 degree Hurricane for people who never used Hurricane before. I usually recommend the softer they can get and eased into playing harder ones if they like it and want more from the rubber.

Might be worth pointing out that not only are the scales they use for hardness different between ESN Tensors and Chinese rubbers, the scale used by DHS is also different compared to what the other Chinese manufacturers use. 729, Yinhe, Kokutaku, Palio etc. rubbers are usually between 40 and 44, sometimes you'll find sheets of 46. DHS rubbers come in 37, 38, etc. DHS 41 would probably be harder than Other Chinese 46.

Blade: Butterfly Progress
FH: DHS 8-80 37, 2.1mm
BH: Butterfly Sriver EL 1.9mm
Finally, I ordered DHS Hurricane 3 (not NEO), backhand 38 (couldn't find any h3 or h3 neo 37) and for forehand same - DHS Hurricane 3 but 40 hardness. I know some people say they're slow but that's ok for me, as they wear out I will probably upgrade to NEOs :)

Let us know how it works for your backhand.

It's gonna take a while due to 2 weeks shipping but once I try it out I will share my opinions:)

Bought a red sheet of Xiom Tau 11

It is a hybrid rubber - Chinese sticky top sheet with a hard tensor Euro Sponge.

Grips the ball amazing. Speed is faster than its 8.1 rating on Revspin. Close to 9 I'd say.

Spin is double extreme.

Tried it on my forehand and was good but throw angle is high.

Against incoming topspin on the forehand I was struggling for control.

Flat drives were difficult due to throw angle.

Put it on the backhand and bingo.

Super easy to open up with backhand on third ball attacks.

Return of serve is easy to loop due to super grippy top sheet.

Downside on backhand - punches are harder due to throw.

Less sensitive to spin than the 09 C and grippier top sheet.

Sponge is very hard.

Use it with a Nittaku Fastarc G1 black on forehand and a Joola Xylo 5 85 g blade.

Control,feel and spin.

Best combo ever for playing in high humidity.

I went looking for this on Shopee, couldn't find it. It's not on tabletennis11 either. Hmmm!! It DOES exist, it came up when I did a web search, though I didn't look hard enough to find a source (if I can't buy it locally, I'm not going to buy it). Oh well.. Hopefully it's not as expensive as I think it'll be.. Rubber prices (at the high end) have gone through the roof in the last year.

First of all - I think I got a bad piece of FH rubber, since my BH H3 is much more tackier than FH H3. Well, the risk of buying chinese rubbers:D

I must say I am satisfied with both FH and BH, they work excellent for development as I thought, I have been using it for 1 month and I can see that my BH improved, it has more topspin and I can do faster finishing strokes that before.
Looking at this BH competitively - like you said it is a bit too slow, if win mattered for me more than development I would not choose this rubber.
For FH - I don't need anything faster, even competitively.

I will continue playing with these sheets and probably switch to NEOs once I wear them out :)
