Hybrid rubber with tensor sponge. https://revspin.net/rubber/tibhar-hybrid-k3.html

Been using black on forehand for a few weeks.

Very fast, unreal spin. Produces a very loopy arc.

Not good for backhand punches or flat forehand drives. Big adjustment needed.

Super hard sponge gives awesome feel and feedback.

Much harder feel than 09C and a lot faster.

Highly recommend but again you might need time to adjust to it.

I use red 05 Dignics on the backhand and it feels mushy by comparison.

Xiom TMXI blade - the heavier Pro version. https://revspin.net/blade/xiom-ajh-tmxi-pro.html

Feels really nice combo.

Blade: Matador
FH: Dignics09C
BH: Scandal
It is nice to hear. One thing I would be curious about is the durability.

I was playing with K3 on the backhand until recently - I am still not sure if I will continue with it, but I am favouring a more recent Tibhar rubber - the Hybrid MK. Will comment on this after I comment on K3

K3 is a very good rubber, very good spin and speed as Mac says. Because of the hardness, very good in the short game - but because of the tackiness, quite spin-sensitive.

I can imagine it suiting Mac's game (Mac, you tried it on one of my blades a couple of months ago, and liked it then. Mac (imho) has a very short, spinny, wristy backhand, which is very difficult to hanlde, produces a lot of spin. The hard sponge throws the ball out very quickly, and the grip provides enough lift even on a short stroke.

I find the K3 exceptional at topspin to topspin rallys.

Regarding the durability - it is ok, but not in the class of Dignics 09c. After 3 months of around 30 minutes a day average play, I had to replace it, as much of the tackiness had worn off. It is still a good rubber after 3 months, but some topspins just don't dip as much as they should. If you are happy to replace it regularly, a really good rubber.

Now, about the Hybrid MK.

Even though it is described as "hybrid", there is no tackiness on the rubber. If you rub your finger over the rubber, it almost feels slippery. Despite this, it can produce I believe as much spin (or almost as much - depends on how long the ball stays on the bat) as the K3. The big difference is the lack of hardness, and the lack of speed sensitivity. Because of this, I can open up much more strongly with the MK, in that I can more ignore what my opponent does. I trust much more that the ball will land on the opponent's side of the table. It is not as fast as K3, but fast enough to win points outright off an opening loop, mainly as I have the confidence to play a fuller stroke..

The lack of spin sensitivity also allows a bit of creativity - dead pushes, chopblocks, softer shots. You have to like softer-feeling rubbers, though.

I did read half the players in the Bundesliga are using this rubber.

Best rubber in terms of feel and feedback ive yet used.

Performance - time will tell.

I opened my blade up on the forehand with the K3 against opponents heavy underspin and my ball repeatedly hit the top of the net.

I had to change my stroke to a orthodox forehand steep lift to get the ball over the net lol.

So yes, it is super sensitive to incoming spin but yet it seems LESS sensitise to incoming spin when i forehand counter loop.

Going to try the K1 black on my forehand on a couple of different blades.

The K1 is very tacky and will post soon what i think.

Super happy with the K3 though.

Easily the best rubber ive ever used and certainly the most enjoyable to use due to its very hard feel, grip and superb speed.

Looks like hybrid rubbers may soon become the norm.
