Even China knows its dominance is not good for the sports.

They play at a whole other level. In the just completed tournament in Rotterdam, by my count the Chinese men and women compiled a record of 44-1 in singles matches against the best players from other countries. Only Timo Boll managed to beat a Chinese player to salvage any respect for the rest of the world.

The Chinese aren't going to handicap their game (nor should they) for the benefit of Earth, so the rest of the world has to catch up. However, I don't see this situation getting any better with a lifetime ban discouraging Chinese players over 21 from emigrating to other countries. We need those players to come to our countries to teach our elite players how to play this game, rather than being satisfied with Olympic table scraps via a tainted bronze medal bought by exclusion.

Yes well said, I don't think the Chinese have two men players with the samw style and even got thier two lady choppers into the top 8, the only other group with more diversity is the 3 older Korean men lol
The Chinese have been inovative, creative and systematic with winning all golds and silvers, China even put some lesser level players into the mixed doubles and only had 1 real challenge and that was against the choppers, other Country's could have targeted this event rather than trying to win in singles
