yeh, they look quite good as well

Chinese rubbers are ridiculously heavy in comparison to Jap rubbers,
especilly when used on both sides,

i couldn't use them on both sides, but i do have spare bats with Chinese rubbers on both sides and one of the setups weighs 209grams :?

Chinese rubbers are evolving... almost every new generation is lighter... I agree though that on average they are a fair bit heavier...

JKC if I had an old bat in the kitchen like that I'd call her my mother-in-law LOL.

Fortunately I'm divorced so she doesn't get in my kitchen any more :D :angryfire:

My bat: Butterfly Cypress Alpha. The rubber was initially Tackiness Drive 2.1. I have changed it to Yasaka Mark V M2 max.

Here ia mine when it was still new : Nittaku Cho Tokusen A, 80 grams. I believe for this kind of (single ply hinoki) blade it is more interesting to see without rubber so the grain can be seen.

Here's my new(est) blade

This blade is really nice too, though I still think it's just a maze.

Hah, I play with pretty much any bat that I see. I don't actually own my own bat, so I use bats belonging to other people, or if I play at a sports centre I use their bats. Should I get my own? How much do they cost?

£20, eh? Hmm, seems like quite a bit, but I suppose it's to be expected for penholders. Can you get decent ones from the internet (eBay, Amazon, etc), or is it best to go to a sports shop?

20 pounds is pretty cheap.
