Hi, I'm a new member and bought a used Kettler outdoor table. I think it's an oxford model but the label is missing. The paint is chalky in large areas of the table. How can I resurface it so it will play well and no longer stain my hands green. Thank you!

What they used to say was to use paint meant for old-style (for use with chalk) blackboards (which were, actually, often green). It was grippy, and matte in appearance. No one uses this these days of course.. I don't know what the manufacturers currently use. I did see cans of blackboard paint at a art supply store some time ago, so perhaps that's where one should go to find it.

The Kettler outdoor tables were actually some sort of metal honeycomb, if I recall correctly.

Hi buddy, without looking at it, it's kind of tough to say what exactly they have used for this. Any idea of that? Then only possible to say some stuff that can cut over it.

Use matte paint to paint metal and wood outside. Give it a 3-4 layers. Add edge strips from paper tape to then paint them white. It is important that the paint is not too slippery when it dries
